Alright guys, I have a 08 KFX 450R. I am looking for some input on skid plates, mainly the rear skid Plate. What is the best manufacter out there. I would like to know what some of you guys are running, and the in's and out's are.

| Hey 360 most all the guys make them out of aluminum there were a few that were doing stainless like the DG laser plate. If your going with aluminum get at least 3/16" plate to 1/4" they will still bend when you wack a rock or stump but can usually beat them back into place quite a few times before being repaired and save your swingarm/carrier from a lot of damage. Might want to check out AC Racing, PRM, DG if you need any more help let us know. |
